Keith: Knee Injury Healed

  On January 23, 2011, I attended a healing service at New Beginnings Healing Center.  Four days prior to attending the service, I had surgery on my right knee to replace my ACL as well as to repair my meniscus and one tendon behind my knee cap.  After the surgery,  I was told that my knee would never be as strong as it used to be and that the healing process would take up to 6 months.  Because I was just 4 days post-op, when I came to the healing service, I was still full of staples and I had a leg brace on.  During the service, Pastor Jonathan and the prayer team prayed for me.  I felt the healing power of God go through my body.  I took off my leg brace and I began to walk and jump on the platform.  I was bending my knee and I had very little pain. 
    Since the healing service, I have seen enormous changes in my knee.  Here’s the great news, when I went to my first physical therapy appointment (just 1 week and 2 days after the surgery), the therapist was AMAZED that I was in the condition I was in.  She said that at this point, I should just be doing crutch training and walking with extreme difficulty.  She couldn’t believe all that I was doing.  She put me on a stationary bike, but said that I wouldn’t be able to get a full revolution this early in my recovery process. But, not only did I get the full revolution, I rode the bike for 10 minutes!  I was told that I was at least 3 weeks ahead of where I should be in the healing process and that I should expect a FULL RECOVERY.
    The therapist was so impressed that she asked me to call her over the weekend to let her know if I was still okay.  But, her curiosity got the best of her and she gave in and called me that afternoon.  And, not only was I mostly pain free, I was walking even better!
    Three weeks after my surgery, I had almost 100% full range of motion – approaching 120 degrees which is full range.  My therapists are still amazed at my progress and said typically people at the three week stage struggle to bend their knee past 90 degrees. 
    I truly received a miraculous healing from the Lord and I am so grateful!
